Lockwood
EIA Lab
Mark Anderson, VT., Director
We
offer EIA "Coggins" testing for traveling horses using
the ELISA test.
Our Coggins test schedule:
ELISA Test batches are run at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on weekdays.
Results will be available at 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm respectfully.
Horses need an appointment and must be at the clinic for blood
drawn a minimum of 30 minutes before the test is scheduled to
run. If you need results sooner than the next batch there will
be a $20 rush fee. If you need test results on a Saturday a $35
tech fee will be assessed. Blood can be drawn pretty much any
time before scheduled test batches, so plan ahead, make an appointment,
and save money! More info on the Equine page. |

Grooming
by Jeanette
Jeanette
Klein is our resident groomer. Jeanette is patient, gentle and
kind with her charges, and works hard to help them accept grooming
with minimal fear and anxiety. Sedation is available. Cats should
be sedated for safety reasons. Pets in for grooming receive baths,
brushing/combing and clips as ordered by their owners, plus routinely
have their ears cleaned, nails trimmed and anal glands expressed.
Veterinary checks, vaccinations & procedures are available
when in to groom upon request. Proof of current Rabies vaccination
is required by law, and if records are unavailable, we will be
happy to vaccinate them when they are here for grooming. Unless
special arrangements are made, groom pets should arrive between
7:30 - 8:30 AM, and Jeanette will call you when they are done
later in the day. |

Our
practice: We are a rural town & country veterinary service,
providing general care for most pets & livestock, located in the
Lockwood area in the eastern outskirts of Billings, Montana. We run
a small, friendly, personalized, general practice clinic. We are not
set up for some highly specialized procedures, and may refer some complicated
cases & surgeries to trusted specialists. We are conservative and
use caring, common sense in our practice. We inform our clients of all
treatment options, and help them make the best decisions for their pets.
We will do whatever we can to help our patients live long & comfortable
lives, and will provide all treatments & options available according
to our clients' wishes, while helping them avoid unecessary excessive
expenses. We expect payment upon services rendered. We are unable to
extend credit at this time. Our emergency service is avalilable 24/7,
as we always have a veterniarian on call. Please be prepared to pay
emergency fees which are required at the time of services after hours.
Thank you to all our loyal clients and patients! |
